It’s a beautiful thing to be invited by the BBC to participate in the Children In Need Appeal. Twenty nine years later 😉
Thank you BBC Radio Leeds and presenter Richard Stead for inviting me onto your morning show to talk about how Pudsey Bear came about and got his name, bestowed by me on the charity’s official mascot in 1985. Here’s the unedited version of the interview:
I have created this site because I could :-).
Pudsey Bear and all he stands for matters to me. Proud to be Yorkshire, I care about the West Yorkshire town of Pudsey in which I spent my early years, about everyone who has dedicated their time and hard earned cash to support the causes that Pudsey stands for over the years and most of all, I care that everything Pudsey Bear is fun and puts big smiles on everyone’s faces!
Please go here to contact me and share your Pudsey photos and news with me. I’d love to hear from you!
